Holiday baking seem overwhelming to you? Join Jenny Wehmeier and the Elkhorn Culinary Arts students for an evening of baking in the EAHS Culinary Arts classroom.

Bring a friend or make new friends as you work in a kitchen with up to three bakers. Participants will work in one of six stations to bake one or two kinds of cookies to be split with the rest of the group. Recipes will be selected ahead of time to purchase ingredients.

The Rotary Club of Elkhorn invites you to their annual pancake breakfast at Elkhorn Area Middle School, Saturday, November 5, 8 a.m. - noon. EASD and the Walworth County Department of Health and Human Services will host Dr. Greg Hudnall in the James A Wehner Auditorium at Elkhorn Area High School on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 7 p.m. All families and community members are invited to his presentation, “What We Know and What We Don’t Know About Youth Suicide.” Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Hudnall will present the latest research on youth suicide. He will also discuss the things to say and not to say to struggling youth. Please come with questions.

In addition to celebrating, we will be offering developmental screenings to help identify whether your child is meeting appropriate milestones for their age in the areas of speech/communication, personal-social development, motor coordination, and early concepts. A hearing and vision screening will also be offered.
A second 3-year-old birthday party will be offered in Spring on March 8, 2023, for toddlers turning 3 born on or after January 1, 2020.

Our school is so lucky to have so many dedicated and amazing volunteers assisting our teachers and students. Because of all of their help our students are getting more individualized help, teacher and student materials are being prepped, and library books are being checked out.
