I graduated in 2010 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Middle School Education, and a minor in Special Education. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior with my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

What do You Love About Options? What I love most about Options is the strong sense of community and the welcoming, family-like atmosphere. It’s clear that students, teachers, and families are closely connected, and that kind of environment means a lot to me. I value the personalized, hands-on approach to learning, which gives every child the support and attention they need to grow academically, emotionally, and socially. Most importantly, the school’s values truly reflect my own. I’m especially grateful for the focus on character development, individualized instruction, and nurturing a genuine love of learning in every student.

What Inspired You to Work in Education? I was inspired to work in education because I believe deeply in the power of learning to shape not just a child’s academic growth, but their emotional and social development as well. I love helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop a genuine curiosity about the world around them. There is nothing like the pure joy of watching a student’s face light up when they learn something new or realize they are capable of more than they thought. Most of all, I want every child to leave my classroom knowing they are valued, capable, and worthy of love just as they are.

What do You do in Your Free Time? In my free time, I love hanging out with my family. We’re always up for an adventure, whether it’s trying something new or heading out to discover a new park or hiking trail. I also enjoy spending time in my flower gardens. It’s one of my favorite ways to relax and recharge. When things slow down, I like to curl up with a good book and get lost in a story.

I believe in the power of potential.

What do You Love About Options? The faculty genuinely love working together and supporting student growth. They’re committed to building caring, high-performing relationships with their students. Our school feels like a family, and we do everything we can to support one another.

What Inspired You to Work in Education? I was inspired to work in education because I believe in the power of potential—especially the kind that others might overlook. Every student brings a unique story, a different strength, and a chance to grow into something remarkable. Education, to me, is not just about academics—it's about connection, opportunity, and transformation. I wanted to be someone who helps light the way for students when the path feels uncertain, and who believes in them until they learn to believe in themselves. There is no greater privilege than helping a young person realize they are capable of more than they imagined.

What do You do in Your Free Time? My family is my top priority, and I especially cherish the time I spend with my nephews in Chicago. I'm a proud supporter of Wisconsin sports, a passionate soccer fan, and a self-proclaimed super club enthusiast! I also love the outdoors—swimming, camping, and soaking up all that nature has to offer.

I look forward to helping students find success.
