The Elkhorn Area School District invites you and your child to celebrate their upcoming third birthday with the Early Childhood Team at Matheson Memorial Library! Children turning three, born between July 1 and December 31, 2019, are invited to our November 14, 2022, party. In addition to celebrating, we will be offering developmental screenings to help identify whether your child is meeting appropriate milestones for their age in the areas of speech/communication, personal-social development, motor coordination, and early concepts. A hearing and vision screening will also be offered. A second 3-year-old birthday party will be offered in Spring on March 8, 2023, for toddlers turning 3 born on or after January 1, 2020. -- ¡Estás invitado! Sponsored by the Nicholas D. Sergi Foundation, the Great Give Back is a day of volunteering and giving back to our community. Our school is so lucky to have so many dedicated and amazing volunteers assisting our teachers and students. Because of all of their help our students are getting more individualized help, teacher and student materials are being prepped, and library books are being checked out. Our volunteers help to make our school a better place for us all! Thank you volunteers for all of your help in and out of the classroom. Their teamwork definitely makes the Options dream work. Our volunteers are the best!

Mark your calendars and save the date for Hot Cakes, Cool Tunes! The Rotary Club of Elkhorn invites you to their annual pancake breakfast at Elkhorn Area Middle School, Saturday, November 5, 8 a.m. - noon. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit EASD music programs. Your $10 ticket can be purchased at the door on November 5, or at the EASD 1887 Building, the Chamber of Commerce, or Friends on the Square. See you there!

Gateway Technical College will be hosting several High School Application and FAFSA Workshops. Attend an application workshop to take the next step towards a rewarding college career. You'll be able to complete your college and financial aid applications and get your application fee waived! To register go to http://gtc.edu/application-workshop. College Goal WI will be hosting an in-person event on Tuesday, October 4 at Badger High School. The event will start with a short presentation with tips on how to complete the FAFSA application. After the presentation, you will be able to ask questions and receive individual assistance to complete the FAFSA application. Please visit the WEBSITE to register for the event. High School Students will have the opportunity to visit the Gateway campus and learn more about the different areas of study and your own potential career path.
