Congratulations to EAHS Automotive and Technology Education teacher Austin Thorson for being named one of 50 finalists for the 2022 Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence.
The award honors excellent teaching in skilled trades education in U.S. public high schools. Austin is now in the running for one of 20 prizes totaling $1.25 million, which will be awarded in October.

Anna Rebarchik graduated from college before high school!!!!
Congratulations to Anna on earning her Associate's Degree from Gateway Technical College in Electrical Engineering Technology. This (69) credit Associate's Degree was awarded before yesterday's Options Virtual Charter School Commencement, and through a personalized schedule to meet Anna's post-high school goals, the Options Virtual Charter School collaborated with Gateway Technical College to ensure this amazing accomplishment became a reality!

Ground has been broken on the Options School Forest! The Options School Forest is approximately 20 acres. The long term plan is to have a walking path and an outdoor education classroom.
Thanks to Juliet Lena, Options teacher and grant writer, Lisa Smith, Options high school teacher, Caty Loth, Options teacher and parent, along with students Landon, 3rd grade, Jack, 9th grade, and Grant, 11th grade, for all of their work on the school forest! We’re so excited to see the progress and what’s next!
We are so excited that our Montessori inspired 4K/5K Academy class room is starting to come together. It is a work in progress, and we still have much to do, but here are some sneak peek pictures at all the work that has been happening so far to get our classroom ready for the 2022-23 school year.
Mrs. Deb Dahl, Montessori Guide, and Mrs. Caty Loth, Options Kindergarten Teacher on Record, will be working very hard these next couple of weeks and into the summer so they are ready for our 4K/5K 2022-23 students and families. More pictures and details will be following very soon.
