Grades 9-12

Options Virtual Charter School is a free, public charter school within the Elkhorn Area School District. Options provides educational services to students in grades 4K-12. Under the direction of Wisconsin-licensed teachers, our students access instruction in an alternative setting.

Options offers flexible scheduling, personalized instruction, and access to district resources. Options uses a variety of educational delivery methods to achieve the goal of educating the child. Our teachers utilize a number of different educational opportunities to meet the individualized educational needs of our students. Online instruction is just one of these options.

In grades 9-12, Options Virtual Charter School students develop future-ready skills, preparing them for life after graduation. Families can choose from fully virtual learning, virtual learning with blended support, or a truly blended learning approach. High School students can even start taking college-level courses and earning college credit for FREE while still in high school.

Dual Credit & Dual Enrollment Opportunities

What is Dual Credit?

Dual credit allows high school students to earn both high school and college credits simultaneously by successfully completing approved college-level courses. This program bridges the gap between high school and college, providing students with a seamless transition into higher education.

What is Dual Enrollment?

Options Virtual Charter School is proud to offer students the chance to earn college credits while still in high school through two primary programs: Early College Credit Program (ECCP) and Start College Now (SCN). These opportunities enable students to explore college-level coursework, save money on tuition, and get a head start on their higher education journey.
