College Credit Choices

Universal Credit

The state of Wisconsin has provided guidance with the Technical Colleges and University system to ensure that students can earn up to 30 general studies credits while in high school. These credits can be taken at the Technical College and transferred into the University of Wisconsin system. These classes are equivalent to one year of a Bachelor's Degree.

Wisconsin Technical College

Wisconsin Technical Colleges offer a wide variety of programs for students. Options students can earn a certificate, technical diploma and/or an Associates Degree in the program of their choice. Students may also take singular classes that may interest them as they explore future career ideas. Some of these program courses will transfer towards a Bachelor's Degree.

Wisconsin University System

Juniors and Seniors who meet university criteria may take courses on campus. Options high school students will work with staff to complete their application into the university selected. It is strongly encouraged that students review programs offered prior to selecting courses. Courses taken on campus can be applied towards a Bachelor's Degree.
